This japanese black Victor label with What’d I Say on the B-Side was released in April 1964. This time, the cover comes along as a beautiful triple fold-out paper sheet with words of the songs on the back, some pictures and tons of japanese liner notes printed inside. As usual, the disc itself is packed in a seperate Victor single sleeve. The stamped matrix numbers are: RPKM 0234 and RPKM 0235.

SS-1951                   Can´t Help Falling In Love

Japanese single release of Cant´ Help Falling In Love and Rock-A-Hula Baby. This is the orange RCA label from 1970 with the film-stripe paper-sheet cover. A second cover does exist of this. Japanese liner notes and song lyrics in english are printed on the white sheet. Disc is still stored in the original red RCA single pocket from Japan. Has the matrix numbers JEY 478 and 479.

This beautiful single of You Don´t Have To Say You Love Me and Patch It Up was released in November 1970. It has an orange RCA label and comes with a generic RCA sleeve and a paper-sheet cover as seen on the right. Japanese liner notes and the song lyrics of You Don´t Have To Say You Love Me were printed on the back. Lyrics for Patch It Up are missing. Matrix numbers ZPKM 1608 and 1628.

SS-2181                   An American Trilogy - white promo label

Rare and hard to find promotional release for An American Trilogy and The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face. It can be identified as a promotional release only by the white RCA label itself. Usually, this standard single came with an orange label like the SS-1982 and was released in June 1972. Comes with a paper-sheet cover and a generic RCA sleeve. Japanese liner notes and song lyrics were printed on the backside of the sheet. Matrix numbers are: SS 2181A and SS 2181B.

SOUTH AFRICAN SINGLES

This black RCA Victor single release is from South Africa and has still the original sleeve. Covers have not been made as far as known. The single has a black `Tri´, very similar to the one found on british releases. The B-side features the song Where Do You Come From. The stamped matrix numbers are: N2PW 3279 and N2PW 3274.

The ravishingly beautiful spanish Hound Dog / Don’t Be Cruel Compact 33 single, with the black RCA label, was released in 1958. Doesn’t the sleeve feature a really great shot of Elvis live in action? The backside has black print on white stock, advertising other artists like Neil Sedaka, Sam Cooke and even Floyd Cramer. Handwritten matrix numbers are: 3E7UW-0023-1S and 3E7UW-0024-1S.
