Summer 1972          Souvenir Menu

As the oil cloth banner above, this menu also came from the summer engagemant at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1972. The card measures 7” x 14” and is folded at the top. The inside of the souvenir menu announces the world’s largest stuffed hound dog being on display at the hotel lobby and reads Elvis says “When away from home live at a Hilton Hotel”, while the backside of the menu promotes the legendary Madison Square Garden album, the Flamingo Hilton and announces the MGM movie Elvis On Tour to be coming soon.
Value: 100 - 125 US$

Summer 1972          Tab Pins

Even though I can not verify this information, it is likely that these tab pins were first issued during the summer engagment in 1972.  These pins are made of metal and measure 21/8” in diameter and approx. 31/8” in length. The tabs had been intended to be folded down, so you could attach the pins to your cloth. Other colors, printings and combinations had also been available. Nice items.
Value: 40 - 50 US$ (each)

Summer 1973          Souvenir Menu

The famous record styled Complimentary Menu (7”) was used during Elvis´ summer engagement at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas from August 6 thru September 3, 1973. A much rarer and bigger version of this menu does exist, too. It was designed for waiter use only. This was Elvis´ final four week lasting engagement in Vegas. After this, engagements lasted only two weeks.
Value: 50 - 75 US$

Summer 1974          Souvenir Menu

Your Personal Souvenir Menu from Elvis´ 1974 Summer Festival at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel. This menu (81 /4 x 11”) was used from August 19 thru September 2. Tom Jones frequently attended these shows. During this engagement, Elvis missed two shows due to illness on August 26. Bill Cosby filled in. This is the menu with the great Sold Out map on the backside. The same design can also be found on the Boxcar release Having Fun With Elvis On Stage.
Value: 75 - 100 US$

Summer 1975          Souvenir Menu

This menu was only used for just five shows between August 18 and August 20. After these five shows, Elvis cancelled the rest of the engagement due to serious health problems and immediately flew back to Memphis where he remained hospitalized until early September. Sad but true, this circumstance makes this menu very scarce and hard to find. The menu measures 11 x 11”.
Value: 300 - 400 US$

CONCERT MEMORABILIA

1956                         Souvenir Photo Album

The second all-Elvis photo album was sold at concerts in late 1956. It says, that Col. Parker sold these photo albums during the shows by himself. It features two great color shots of Elvis on the cover and 13 b&w photos inside. Most of the photos come from Elvis´ first motion picture Love Me Tender . Also included is a brief bio with Vital Statistics. Album measures 81/4 x 11”. It was printed by the Marshall & Bruce Co. in Nashville, Tenn. and has copyright by Elvis Presley Enterprises. A fantastic addition to any collection.
Value : 250 - 350 US$

1957                         Photo Folio - Jailhouse Rock advertisement

Even though these photo albums were usually only sold at Elvis concerts in 1957, this one must have been sold a long time ago at a german radio and television shop, as it was rubber-stamped by the shop on the backside. I have no idea, of how they managed to get one or more copies of this to sell it in their store. This copie has the Jailhouse Rock backside, wich is even much rarer than the Golden Record edition. The contents are identical. Have a closer look.
Value: 200 - 275 US$

1957                         Photo Folio - Golden Record advertisement

This photo folio (8 x 10”) was only sold at Elvis concerts in 1957. The folio features b/w promotional shots on twelve pages from Elvis´ MGM movie Jailhouse Rock . This copie has the Golden Record backside. The contents are identical. Elvis didn´t perform so many concerts in 1957, as he did in 1956. Elvis played only about 30 concerts, because he and Parker had been mainly working on Elvis´ movie career. Click on the picture and have a closer look.
Value: 175 - 250 US$
