EPA-4114                Jailhouse Rock

Here is the original firstpressing from October 1957 with a black RCA Victor label and dog on top. As many other Elvis EPs, this one wasn’t re-released until 1965. The stamped matrix numbers are: H2 WH6537-1S and H2 WH6538-1S. The plain backside of the cover features a black & white shot of Elvis from Jailhouse Rock, liner notes and a short synopsis of the movie.
Value: 90 - 110 US$

EPA-4319                King Creole

This is the original release from August 1958. It´s the black RCA Victor label with dog on top and the cover having RCA copyright and Printed In USA at the lower right on the front sleeve. With the exception of the super rare maroon and the orange label from 1968, this is the real thing to go for. Matrix numbers are: J2 PH4407-1S and J2 PH4408-2S. The plain white back of the cover announces the Hard Headed Woman / Don´t Ask Me Why single.
Value: 100 - 125 US$

EPA-4321                King Creole Vol. 2

Here comes a re-release from 1965 with a black RCA Victor label with dog on side. This re-release is rarer than the one of Volume 1, as the original sleeve was used again at this time. Even though these two King Creole releases sell at solid prices, both are quite common and can easily be found in serious collections or record conventions. The backside of the sleeve is similar to the first volume.
Value: 90 - 120 US$

EPA 4368                Follow That Dream - Coin Operator / DJ Prevue

This rarity was only made for coin operators and as a DJ prevue. RCA released it in the USA in May 1962 to promote Elvis’ latest soundtrack. Because the disc itself is not marked as a promotional release, it can only be identified by the playing times added to the song titles. This was not done with the commercial standard release. Beware of covers with a black print. These are fakes. The stamped matrix numbers are: N2 PH1603-6S and N2 PH1604-6S.
Value: 300 - 400 US$

SPA-7-27                 Save-On-Records - Bulletin for June

The Save-On-Records release was issued in June 1956 as part of a RCA Victor discount activity. A coupon book came with this release, offering a discount on all records that had been promoted on this EP. This EP featured excerpts of ten songs, lifted from actual albums and the Elvis track is I’m Gonna Sit Right Down And Cry Over You.  As it is very hard to find this EP with the coupon book, especially an intact one, the value below is just for the disc and the paper sleeve.
Value: 350 - 500 US$
